BTCC is championed as the premier national series in the UK, and in front of easily 30,000 other people at Snetterton over this weekend, the series returned from its summer break. Saturday was a photo day for me, so lots of running around getting shots of the cars. Sunday I was just spectating hence the fairly noticeable difference in photo quality.... anyways, excuses out of the way, now for photos:

Ginettas make up a big part of the support package, with the G55 GT4s and the G40 Juniors racing 5 times between the two championships.

BMR have a livery/sponsor now, YAY!

Tom Ingram is always good for dragging around an uncompetitive car at way above its pace.

Warren Scott finances the BMR team and keeps 3 top line drivers in work, plus he gets to go out and play too. Living the dream? pretty much.

This guy got the callup at 7.30am on Saturday, as the regular driver Alex Martin was called away as his wife was giving birth.

Shiny car to celebrate a renewed partnership. This looked glorious in the sun.

Motorbase are back after skipping the first half of the season. Only good news there.

Hey, are you 14-17 and fancy racing cars after Karts, well heres a package for you. Yes, there is exactly as much chaos in the Ginetta Juniors as you’d expect.

Porsches get the longest race of the weekend, and with a big field this isnt too bad.

Dan Cammish is a name for the future. You dont dominate Carrera Cup (& formula ford 2 years ago) like him without shedloads of talent.

MSA Formula, supported by the FIA, powered by Ford. Catchy name.

The next entry in BTCC 2 wheels competition. Only a 2/10 here. lacking effort.

And todays winner, 10/10 for effort. And he kept it from rolling after a small correction.

Friend of Jalopnik Robb Holland is back in the BTCC for the rest of the season.
